近日，科睿唯安（Clarivate）公布了2020年“全球高被引科学家”名单，厦门大学马来西亚分校能源与化工学院王伟俊副教授（Dr. Ong Wee Jun）入选。

这是王伟俊副教授继2019年后再度获此殊荣。

该榜单数据来源于科睿唯安InCites平台上的Essential Science Indicators（ESI）数据库，入选科学家均发表了多篇高被引论文，其被引频次位于同学科前1%。这意味着学者在其研究领域具有世界级影响力，其科研成果为该领域发展做出了巨大贡献。

今年，全球共有60余个国家和地区的6167人次进入榜单，其中包括26位诺贝尔奖得主。马来西亚共有13人次入选。

王伟俊副教授

厦门大学马来西亚分校能源与化工学院副教授，美国劳伦斯伯克利国家实验室、加州大学伯克利分校客座教授，英国皇家化学学会会员。主要研究领域包括光催化技术，光电催化和电化学水分解，还原二氧化碳，固氮，纳米科技，太阳能燃料生产，能源转换和存储等。2016年博士毕业于莫纳什大学（马来西亚校区），曾在新加坡A* STAR材料研究与工程研究所（IMRE）担任研究员，2018年加入厦门大学马来西亚分校。

2013年至今发表SCI文章74篇，被引超过8800次，H指数40，其中22篇入选汤森路透全球前1%高引用论文，8篇引用次数排在所在领域全球前0.1%，入选汤森路透热门研究论文。获2018年德国联邦教育与研究部绿色精英奖（Green Talent Award），新加坡和马来西亚化学工程师协会（IChemE）2017-2018年青年科学家奖，2018年Materials Horizons期刊杰出论文奖，2018年Journal of Materials Chemistry A 期刊的Emerging Investigator，2018年马来西亚的Merdeka Award Grant。

担任Frontiers in Nanotechnology主编，Small，Nanoscale，Solar RRL，ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces，Chemistry - A European Journal，Particle & Particle Systems Characterization等学术期刊客座主编，Frontiers in Chemistry和Beilstein Journal of Nanotechnology副主编，以及Board Member of Materials Horizons，Chinese Journal of Catalysis，Langmuir，Scientific Reports，Nanotechnology and Nano Futures等学术期刊编委。

科睿唯安“高被引科学家”名单

每年发布的科睿唯安“高被引科学家”名单旨在遴选全球自然科学和社会科学领域最具影响力的研究人员。2020年度“高被引科学家”名单的数据来源于科睿唯安InCites平台上的Essential Science Indicators（ESI）数据库，采用ESI的21个按照期刊划分的大学科领域遴选，对于《科学》、《自然》等交叉学科的期刊，会依据对论文参考文献的分析，将论文逐一划分到对应的21个学科领域。高被引论文对同年发表的论文进行相互比较，因此这种基于百分比的筛选方法消除了较早发表论文相对于近期发表论文的引用优势。科睿唯安“高被引科学家”名单以其科学严谨的筛选方法被学术界所广泛接受，具有很高的公信力。

Dr. Ong Wee Jun Named Global Highly Cited Researchers Again in 2020

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ong Wee Jun from School of Energy and Chemical Engineering has been named by Web of Science Group, Clarivate, as one of its Highly Cited Researchers in 2020.

The highly anticipated annual list of Highly Cited Researchers identifies researchers who have demonstrated significant influence in their chosen field or fields through the publication of multiple highly cited papers during the last decade. Their names are drawn from publications that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and year in the Web of Science citation index.

In 2020, fewer than 6,200, or about 0.1%, of the world's researchers, in 21 research fields and across multiple fields, have earned this exclusive distinction. In Malaysia, a total of 13 scientists have been named to this prestigious list.

This is the second year that Dr. Ong has been included in this list for his publications, which have an outsized influence across several fields.

Five other Xiamen University academics won this prestigious recognition for their research achievements as well.

About Dr. Ong Wee Jun

Dr. Ong Wee Jun is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, XMUM. He has won several prestigious awards since joining XMUM in 2018, including the Merdeka Award Grant for International Attachment, Young Researcher Award from Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and the Green Talent Award presented by the German government. He has been named as a “Global Highly Cited Researcher” by Clarivate Analytics (the Web of Science Group) for year 2019 and 2020. Currently, he serves as the Chief Editor, Associate Editor, Guest Editor, and Board Member of Frontiers in Nanotechnology, Frontiers in Chemistry, Materials Horizons, Langmuir, Scientific Reports, and Nanotechnology, respectively.
